101 – Sewing Machine: Throw Pillow – Tuesday, March 5th, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Befriending your sewing machine has never been easier! Whether you haven’t sewn since grade school or have never touched a machine in your life, our Sewing 101 classes will help you get comfortable and confident with sewing on a machine! Once you’ve become acquainted with the ins and outs of threading and stitching, you will apply these skills to construct a set of throw pillows. These handmade throw pillows are a simple decorative touch that you will be adding to every room in your home.

Skills Learned:
- Sewing machine basics (threading, winding a bobbin, backstitching, etc.)
- Basic construction + terminology
- Good practices for sewing
Note: In this class we will be sewing two 18” x 18” pillows. Pillow forms are included in the class fee. Due to time constraints we cannot accommodate for size alterations, however the skills learned and provided instructional sheets will allow you to adapt the pattern for future projects.
